It's not just the historians my fellow G n R fan. G n R had to put up with hair metal just like everyone else until Nirvana. G n R was great enough to defeat hair metal but they took too long with a followup album so Nirvana beat them to it. G n R are excellent anyway.

All rumors so far, nothing concrete at all.

I saw that GNR has the top grossing tour of 2017, taking in $151.5 million so far.

Sirius stream is cool so far. But Axl's lady voice on 'Welcome to the Jungle' is killin' me!

I think it is all rumor, but at least one has to figure it is now conceivably possible it could happen because Slash and Duff are again in the band with Axl embracing the past to a degree.

Anyone else tuned into the live Apollo show on SXM? Killer stuff--can't wait to see them in Winston-Salem 3 weeks from tonight!

  8. The anniversary is today, isn't it? If it hasn't even been announced, there's not much chance of it being released this year.

I was the one who posted the rumor about the set and apparently it was not accurate. Well at least the announcement of it anyway. The set could still be in the works as they claimed to have knowledge of some of the specs but could be all horse manure too.

The band sounds great - especially Slash. But one thing that's kind of weird in all of the videos from the tour that I see is that while the playing is stellar, his face has the look of someone who just doesn't want to be there at all. I can't remember if that's just the way he's always been when onstage or not. I would love for them to do a new album but I get the sense that he wants nothing to do with Axl offstage.

I think he is trying to not move too suddenly that his hat falls off! Honestly...ditch the hat and bang your effin' head some.

I seen them at stade de France in Paris a few weeks ago and also noticed this. Slash not once smiled or showed any emotion. The sunglasses stayed on the entire gig and he remained expressionless, he didn't speak into the mic either (something he'd do every so often back in the day but usually just to swear)
Axl, Duff and the rest of the band were all smiles and seems much more into it..
Great gig for sure having said that..

    It's because it's not actually Slash. It's Robo-Slash. \m/

Slash recently had a very expensive divorce.

Second Toronto show goes on sale tomorrow, but I picked up a great lower-bowl
ducat through the venue pre-sale today! Not cheap.....roughly $300 less than what
I paid for a Stones ticket there. But it is an arena concert.....
