Apologies if I've missed this but am I correct in saying that the 'Crate' is only available from the US site? I got as far as checkout on UDiscoverMusicUS to see what the shipping cost would be and it's is huge (not to mention the inevitable import charges into the UK).

I'd really like to order this but my total (again without import duty) is a whopping $552.87.

Not true, they will ship to the UK (as I said above I went right to the end of the checkout process). My question was is the set ***ONLY*** going to be available from the US site?

Back in the Hittin' The Note merch days, Customer Service was top notch. I imagine that's just them trying to provide the same line of communication we old timers came to love, and trust.

I'll give them credit for revealing the sources and this does look like a nice package, but no AAA is pretty much a deal killer for me.

I did. For "The 1971 Fillmore East Recordings" there are two purchase options Amazon and Hittin the Note. When you click on Hittin' the Note it takes you to the old Hittin' the Note site. If the site is closed down why is "Hittin' the Web with ABB" showing merchandise links for "Hittin' the Note"? I Tried my old user name and password from Hittin' the Note" to log on to "Hittin' the Web with ABB" but it didn't work. I figured I'd sign up for the new site but the sign up page is ridiculously long !

If you hover over Merch at thetop of the page, it directs you to The Big House, where operations will be set up.

I will wait for the hi res files! Looking forward to hearing them!

  24. Wow, this looks like a nice package. The wooden crate would be very cool to have. But I will probably pass, even though the set looks tempting.

Already have many on these on nice vinyl pressings. I'm pretty sure the originals won't be bettered, sound quality wise. I might pick up one or two of the individual releases, e.g. Ludlow and maybe the debut as a 2-LP set.
