AM/FM Radio.....

    Bill: I agree with Steve on this one, yes; it is worth the price tag which is not cheap, but I have had mine for 6 years, and wouldn't buy any other 'table-top' radio.

    I read your posts. Harsh but true. Listening to DAB last month in the UK, I began to really like the format. The live Radio 3 broadcasts of the proms sounded really very good. Had I the equipment, I would have made a dgital tape or two. Oh well, better hold on to the Revox, the Lafayette, the two Tivolis, the 4 Grundigs, the 5 Rogers, the 2 Panasonics, the Musical Fidelity, the Becker, the Blaupunkt, the Technics, the Harmon Kardon, and the Sony.     I like the FM AutoScan radio but the only downside is that they only use batteries, but they are small, compact, sound good for what they are, especially with headphones, but you can hook it up to an AUX from the headphone jack built in to the autoscan and it does sound decent amplified, especially if the batteries are fresh.
