I'm afraid to ask this question... but here it goes.. Doesn anyone have a "No-Noise option" in their digital editors? My workstation at the house is down, and I don't have it at work. I have produced some story/songs for a Children's Miracle Network Radio-thon and need some no noise for some hiss... No Noise in this case is a good thing.. believe me! Thanks!
I have a noise reduction mudule in all my Cool Edit versions as standard tools, and I have the Sound Forge Noise Reduction Direct-X plug-in. I also have noise reduction in DCArt32. And, I use the one in Cool Edit most often. It's not a matter of pushing a button or a preset. One has to work with it and fine tune it. I do not overdo things like most people tend to do. I'm not looking for dead digital silence.
