Great question. I'd be interested in the answer to this, too, as I have used Minidisc to archive things the exact same way. I've always had to use the analog outputs.....
Here are a few more Mindiscs that I just found in a drawer. These are my Minidiscs of the "John Lennon Anthology" box set. For these, I used slip-cases, not the flip-style jewel cases...
You mean the drawings? I believe they are Lennon's own drawings.. 1st drawing says "A Family Tree" the 4th says "He Tried to Face Reality."
Couple more portables. The Sony I saved from a Sony MD display that was being thrown out! The RCA isn't a bad player. If I remember correctly it was a rebranded Sharp?
Look what I found! I bought this many, many years ago to enter text information on my MDS-JA50ES. Sure made life much easier!
I had no end of trouble with the UK Maxell black/coloured blanks with errors so stock to Sony Prems, TDK XG/iX and JVC.
Mine stopped working years ago. I still have a big box of discs in my attic if anyone wants to trade for something!
The are recordable ones, with writing on the labels, etc. I dunno anyone would really want them. Probably some good tunes though.
Thanks for posting these - I also have the 'Recording Walkman' in the bottom photo. Still use it weekly. Best Wishes, David
Clark you do do incredible work, those are gorgeous. If it weren't for copyrights, you could make a fortune selling those things,if you had enough blanks. Clearly there are people who sell b***leg Minidiscs on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Elvis-Presl...e-Album-MINI-DISC-7-rare-tracks-/310680464422 Has anyone put together a list of all the pre recorded Minidiscs that were made, especially in Japan? How about a picture of a prerecorded Minidisc in the original package?I saw blanks for years, but I don't believe I ever saw a prerecorded disc.
Here are my pre-recorded MiniDisc albums I have on ebay currently: http://www.ebay.com/sch/chris90280/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
I found a box of blank discs this weekend, so I decided to make up some comp discs. (I still listen to MD comp discs when commuting to and from work on the bus.) I discovered that I still had SonicStage on an old XP computer, so I used that. It was like old times.
