Mateo Sanboval For me, the action is the juice.

Has anybody heard the June 2018 vinyl reissue of SAW 1? I'm curious if it's an improved pressing.

Can someone help me figure out what official compilation tracks (exclusive) were released by Aphex Twin?
Discogs is a mess to go through.

    Thanks

I bought the new EP. Best AFX release since Druqks.

Bonus track for new EP if you buy from AFX website rather than Bleep.com

I just received my EP in the silver jacket. But the sticker on the rear of the jacket is upside down. Oh well, maybe it will be a collectors item . . .

I think that Collapse is excellent. There is a lot going on - how have reviews been?

Collapse is very busy. Still holding hope that RDJ finishes SAWIII and sends it to be mastered for retail release in the next 10 years or so.

How's the sound quality of Collapse? It has a terrible DR-rating but people claim that it sounds wonderful.

It's "quite good." One thing that immediately jumped out at me was that it sounds virtually identical to the low rez 96k leak, which was strange. Lots of crispy, crunchy digital sounds on this one. I don't thing it comes anywhere near Syro in terms of sound quality, which in my opinion is his audiophile release.

Tbh, I think RDJ is losing the plot a bit lately. His strength is the creation of wonderful and engaging melodies. Autechre won the completely mental drill 'n bass breakcore wars years ago.
Aaron Funk crossed that line in second.

    :shrug:Still waiting for SAWIII. :waiting:

Thanks for posting this... I thought the Thread Starter made a spelling error and I was going to remind him it wasn't Ampex but Fender who made the Twin... a great amp!

Same here. Was not hugely bowled over when I first heard it but I’ve had in on constant rotation since I bought it on release - that’s nearly 2 months now. Just gets increasingly compelling the more you listen to it...

Any love here for Computer Controller Acoustic Instruments pt.2 ?
I think it has fine arrangement and is great composition from Rich. Have the vinyl which sounds very good to my ears.
    A favourite ;)

Can't believe the price some places are charging for Collapse... $25 and higher for an EP, that's just ridiculous. Luckily I just snagged a used copy for $9 :)

Probably the scariest music video ever. Caused me many a bad night with insomnia and nightmares, i dreamed about cloned versions of myself in a hellish city landscape.

I’m only 6 years late but I just discovered the massive SoundCloud dump. This s—t is unbelievable. Highly recommend downloading it. He just added 6 new tracks. It’s up to like 286 unreleased tracks.
