Are the Japanese Beatles cds, other than Abbey Road, worth getting?

    There is someone who wants to sell me a number of first pressing Japanese and German Beatles discs. I'm wondering if these are as special as the first Abbey Road pressing?

    From what I understand, once Toshiba-EMI in Japan was forced to pull the Abbey Road CD (and Pipes Of Peace) all Beatles CDs have been sourced from the same digital masters worldwide. If a Japanese Beatles CD has an OBI as a first pressing it might be worth something to a Beatles collector, but sonically it would not be anything special.
