Audio Desk Ultrasonic Vinyl Cleaner

    Right. My experience has been that neither ultrasonic fully addresses some problem records, which have required enzyme soak, agitate, rinse, occasionally having to repeat the process, for stuff that was deeply ground or cemented into the grooves. I continue to use ultrasonic as part of an overall cleaning regimen, in combination with other machines. My process varies, depending on the condition of the record, which is ultimately determined by playback.

    Forgive my ignorance here, but what is meant by an enzyme cleaner ?
    Do you have any product names ?
    Are you sure it can do no harm to the vinyl itself ?

    Use the search function here or Google and you shall find more information.

    Enzyme cleaners use enzyme to break down organic materials in the record grooves. Mobile Fidelty, TTVJ, Walker Audio all have their own formulae.
