AudioEngine A2 problem - dead?

Just suddenly, my A2s no longer make a sound. They are connected to Xonar soundcard in PC. They've been working fine for years, but apparently no longer. They must be getting power, or at least the power adapter is, as the little green light is on. I connected a CD walkman to the 3.5mm input, nothing, nada. More than 3-year warranty, so that's that. The modern f**king world.

 

Bump. Anyone have any ideas? What would make a powered speaker suddenly die? Is it worth it to try and have them repaired?

 

This happens to my A5+ speakers occasionally. A power cycle usually fixes it.

 

Maybe check out their website and find their phone number. Then call and ask them.
