I’ve got that. Enjoyable in small doses. I performed a number of them in the seventies.

I like this Cage / Dominik Susteck work for organ. See what you think.

True of much of what’s discussed in this thread, imo.

Want to buy for the Bishop/Orcutt/Corsano sides, not a big fan of T. Moore.

Yeah, I'm not a huge Thurston Moore fan either but the A side on this is really good. I guess it's an old song of his that they start off playing straight, then it breaks down into a long noisy mess. I like it a lot except for one section where it's just one long sustained high note of feedback... Gets pretty annoying.

The Bishop/Orcutt/Corsano side is amazing, taken from live shows. Mostly short clips of songs until the last one, a Cream cover.

That's the problem I'd be paying for a full album and only ever wanting to listen to half a side.

Maja S.K. Ratkje - And Sing...

I believe scompton posted about this album last year. It's a great one with Ratkje's amazing voice supported by some pretty far out orchestral arrangements. I've been checking out some of her live performances on youtube and have ordered a bunch of her solo discs as well as her albums with the Norwegian all-female free improv group Spunk. She's a singular artist who demands deep, dedicated listening!

    Two erstwhile releases from 2008 - Erst Live 007 & 008

    Keith Rowe solo 10/20/2008

Keith Rowe & Toshi Nakamura 10/21/2008

I probably prefer the former but the duo is always great - this performance is an intense one - I like the longer more relaxed pieces more - a good example is most of what is on the earlier 2 CD set, “Between”. That being said the shorter (under 10 minutes) loud track at the beginning of disc 2 on that release works very well with the longer pieces surrounding it. Especially before the great 40+ minute piece that follows it.

My first time hearing this one... Pretty cool. I love Bailey's guitar matched up with Parker.

I’ve been on a big John Zorn kick lately. Currently spinning disc two of At The Mountains of Madness from Electric Masada. I think Ikue Mori is a notable MVP here in a group full of MVPs.

It’s always fun to peruse the various experimental tags on bandcamp. Lots of grrat stuff to be discovered there.

LOL. On some other thread, maybe the thread about what instrument always ruins the instrument, someone mentioned there's bound to be someone creatively using autotune and here it is.
