    The engineers should have just left the hiss alone.

    Using No-noise not only sucks, but messing with the hiss on "She's So Heavy" was also messing with Lennon's work IMHO.

    That plus a post (on this forum) which says that no-noise was used on Abbey Road. It may have been Steve Hoffman who said it but I'll see if I can track it down.

    A decade and a half later...has anyone found an instance of NR on the 1987 disc, and/or a spot where the Odeon has more hiss?
