saw a copy for sale for $100 at Music Millenium, in Portland, Oregon.

 

I paid $79 from amazon when it first was released.

 

No cause it just dropped to $85.44!

 

I purchased it for $71 and change when Amazon did a pre-sale back in early November. A little later that month, some of the other online retailers had it for even less. I kept my Amazon order and received it a day or two after release its release in mid December. I’m glad I did.

 

I've just had a "despatched" notification, about 2 days ago. I ordered it in November.

Just as well it's not someone's Xmas pressie. (well....)

On the other hand, I could sell it straightaway for double. But..

Anyone knows where to buy sleeves for singles? I'm annoyed that this box don't have inner sleeves

I didn’t get mine until after Xmas, so I didn’t really see the point in opening it up until next Xmas.

Plus, as I’ve said elsewhere in this thread, I suspect we’ll get the lower profit margin single LP, CD, download, etc. next Xmas season...

I know these well. I played them several times during the holidays. Will pull them out again next year.

I had a similar notification at around the same time and I pre-ordered mid November too. Still hasn't arrived! Have emailed again but no reply yet. I'm guessing this is not going to end well! Will update further when this plays out. After the Sandbag fiasco last year for the Dylan set I have remained quiet on this one. I suspect not for much longer however. Buying music used to be a lot less problematic when you could actually have the item in your hand before money changed hands. OK you had the occadional faulty pressing but even that was OK because you could just swap it with at the shop where it was purchased. Nostalgia.
