[IMG] I've got a couple pix to add. This one's easy if you look closely. Mine were all taken in 2011.

[IMG] My pix were taken on a walking tour. You can get a sense of the typical crowd for one of these tours. This is the former Asher residence when Paul lived with them.

[IMG] Trust me, I'd delete myself if I could. I considered one of those blue ovals over my face. For this photo, think about the very beginning of "A Hard Day's Night". What surprised me most about this tour is how close these sights are to each other. The courthouse where Paul & Linda got married is just around the corner.

[IMG] This was not on the tour and I'm not absolutely sure it's the exact same place. I hope so.

[IMG] One last non-Beatles pic. This is in Paris near Victor Hugo's former residence. It's the apartment where Jim Morrison took his last bath.

Yes, MPL offices! Did not see this on our tour but wished we had. Thanks for sharing, I was hoping someone would. Please post more if you have them.

[IMG] The obligatory AR photo. We could probably have a thread dedicated solely to members photos at this location. It is a very busy intersection and cars are not happy to slow down for the constant flow of tourists posing for this type of photo. I almost didn't do it since it's such a cliche (and it really is a pain in the ass for motorists) . . . but now I'm glad I did. I would be kicking myself now if I didn't. You have to wait your turn and also wait for traffic to let up. You run out there, pose, and run like hell to avoid getting run over. At least that was my experience.

Marylebone Station! I wanted to see this and take a video running & tripping down the side of the building. I wish our guide had taken us since we were at the courthouse where Paul & Linda married. Thanks!

Very interesting thread. Thanks for sharing. Happy that you got to take that kind of tour; I'll have to contact you for info. It's on my bucket list - like many others here I'm sure. I'll have to check out your video as well. Great pix too!

Here's a great short interview with Paul McCartney on the Jonathon Ross show talking about having to hide his face in the car while having to stop for the fans when he himself is driving down Abbey Road:

Per Stunning 'Visualizing The Beatles' Book Due May 1 - Best Classic Bands

"A two-page spread plots 13 locations in Los Angeles that the Beatles have visited or lived in since 1964, including the private home at 1567 Blue Jay Way that George Harrison rented (and was famously inspired to write a song about) and 7655 Curson Terrace, where the band stayed during their 1966 tour."

Right-handed Hofner bass and an Epiphone Lennon signature model budget version of a Gibson J-160E: FAIL! :D

I wonder if that's a real Vox AC50 head or an empty Northcoast Music repro cabinet?

Back in the '70s a friend of mine showed me a snapshot that his dad had taken while stationed in England. By coincidence, the London Pavilion with that very signage was dead center in the shot. (His dad was not interested in the Beatles.)

Picture #23 (Not directly related to the Beatles but still an interesting piece of 60's British music history)

Thank you! Last time I was in the UK was for a month in August, 1989 (a week in London and 3 in and around Liverpool). It's amazing to see how it's changed in that time!
