Best albums to listen to in the dark?

Right now I´m drinking beer and listening to Frank Sinatra Sings for Only the Lonely in the dark. Highly recommended.

"Hats" by The Blue Nile is an album not necessarily compatible with daylight.

 

Also "Local Hero" by Mark Knopfler is a great late nighter.

 

Correction... that was part of Rhino's Summer Of Love reissue series from 2017, not a RSD release. Either way, it still glows!

 

I bought The Unforgettable Fire as a teenager when it came out and was probably close to 40 before I played side two when the sun was out. I mean, you can, but you shouldn't.

I haven't waded through this thread (too lazy...!) so this might have been said already:

Kate Bush - The Dreaming. But only Side Two. I don't know why this should be but, trust me, Side Two is an astonishing ride if listened to in total darkness (and silence). I find sitting in the bottom of a wardrobe with the doors shut helps (at least I did when I was a teenager...)
