I'll have to go with Rockshow. That said, Monterey Pop (The Criterion Collection with all of the extras), and the TAMI show also get honorable mentions.

Only one problem.... allegedly, quite a bit of footage in that movie isn't even from the "This Is It" rehearsals - some of it dating back as far as the "History" tour.

Even Michael's family pointed out that he seems to be in noticeably different states of health throughout the film.

I don't know how much interest there will be around these parts but one of the most visually beautiful music movies I've ever seen is Sigur Ros' movie "Heima," where they travel around Iceland playing in unusual locations. It's a great travelogue as well as a concert movie.

(Not to be confused with their second movie "Inni," which is like watching the band play onstage through a thick grey fog.)

Agree with both "The T.A.M.I. Show" and the rooftop sequence from "Let It Be."

    I'll add

    "Woodstock"
    "Monterey Pop"
    "Pink Floyd--Live at Pompeii"

    and

"The Kids Are Alright"... and if The Kids Are Alright doesn't quality as a "concert" film, then I'd take the "A Quick One" sequence from it (originally from the Stones "Rock and Roll Circus.")

I prefer simple concert footage. I really can't stand it when the editing turns the show into something very different from what I saw live. For example, Madonna's "Ciao Italia!" from 1987, which didn't post-process the vocals or visuals, is far more entertaining to me that her MDNA or Confessions Tours. Both of those barely resemble what happened on stage.

Can't believe no one mentioned U2 Live at Red Rocks.
And you wont be able to see it now, but U2 live in 3D at the IMAX was amazing.
The Rolling Stones live at the Max is great too.

The Tribute to Gram Parsons is a favorite of mine with Keef, Lucinda, Steve Earle, etc. Added bonus is this is the only way to get the audio.

Iron Maiden's Flight 666 is a pretty cool concert movie/documentary. Even if you're not a Maiden fan the story of that tour with their own airplane and Bruce flying it is fascinating. To see the fans in Costa Rica who are seeing the band for the first time or the fans in parts of South America who have to camp out for weeks and are then treated like criminals by security is eye opening. I took my young son who had just been to see them at MSG in NYC and he realized how lucky he was. The stage in Mumbai that was hand lashed together and built with elephant labor was interesting too.

Not very many shots of the whole group playing an showing them in perspective of what was going on around them, so you could get a feeling of what it was like to be there. Oh well.
