Have to add the Dirty Harry Collection on Blu-ray. All the above listed titles are great too.

There were so many excellent BD's that I have no strong feelings about which were best. It would be a lot easier to list the few that were poor like Patton and The Longest Day.

The ones I enjoyed the most were Burn After Reading, The Assination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford, The Big White, and Black Narcissus.

  6. Most any Disney Blu-ray from 2008 was just excellent in my opinion. "Sleeping Beauty" is amazing for a 50 year old film, both the animation and the transfer.

  7. Top Gun -- jets, jets and more jets.

I haven't seen the Blu version. Does it have updated sound? It came out before all the Dolby Digital 5.1 fun years ago.
