Beware of this Ebay Scam!

Hi,

Last week i bid on the modded Sony XA777ES on Ebay mentioned in a previous thread. This morning i got the following email that really looks like a scam:




"*** Hello sir/maam ***
I`m sorry because I contact you like this but I must have some contact with you sometimes
because eBay told me that you want to purchase this :
Sony XA777ES + $1200 AudioMod !
I have the same product for : 1200 CAD$ .
The unit is brand new , in original box , never opened , sealed from factory ,
comes with all accesories that are in the box , works in every country ,
comes with 2 years full international warranty and an inssurance from my company .
The payment will be via WesternUnion because it`s the fastest way possible to send
money worldwide .
I don`t accept Paypal , Escrow , C.O.D. ( because I receive the money late ) ,
Credit Card payment and I don`t send the unit before the payment is done by you and verryfied
by me .

He's quoting $1200 Canadian! Wonder where he's located. Only way this one works is if the buyer could actually inspect and pick up the player.

Also how could it be modded when it's factory sealed.?
