Bewitched marathon on Antenna TV on Mother's Day

On Mother's Day there will be a Bewitched marathon on Antenna TV for those interested. I haven't bothered to check if it will be mostly good Dick York episodes or bad Dick Sargent episodes.

 

Mrs. Kravitz doesn't seem too happy about it...

 

In the episode from season 1 entitled "Eye Of The Beholder", Darrin worries about when he'll be growing old while Samantha remains young sort of forever, after having seen a picture, "The Maid From Salem", which he believes is actually his wife's portrait of 300 years ago.

There is a leitmotiv, a signature tune which plays constantly, whenever Sam is around. Anybody knows what that is? A song from a famous film perhaps?

 

The self-animated object tricks on this show were quite realistic for the day! On some of those old TV shows we can see "the ropes"... but not much on Bewitched! How did they do that? Some fishing lines covered with paint of a particular color and matness perhaps?

My favorite one was the "incarnated armchair", which wrecks havoc in a particularly funny episode of season 2 IIRC. It looked like it really had a life of its own and was darn scary with its muted trumpet sonic signature!

 

The only thing that really gives it away is that some objects obviously "wobbled" a bit in mid flight.
