I always interpreted it as a woman who went by the last name of "St. Matthew" a la Jill St. John. The fact that she "calls herself St. Matthew" implies it is a pseudonym. Like..."Blessing." :D

"Special attention was paid to latter-day Monkees LPs The Birds, the Bees & the Monkees, Instant Replay and The Monkees Present."

This is cash money for Nezheads. :agree:

Sandoval. I know you're lurking. Word to the wise: If I don't get AMC at the NYC gig, expect some heckling.

    Love ya! :hugs:

I dare this duo to do a Jones song. Nez always wanted to Daddy's Song. Now's your chance. Bring out them silver slippers and get your dance on! Ask Toni Basil onstage.

EDIT: apparently my challenge has (not) been accepted but has been acknowledged. They've thought of everything. Unless they're leaving out AMC...

    "pedal steel, banjo, fiddle.."

    *swoon*

"Good Clean Fun" = provisional? Nah, bruh. Rectify that and lock it in. At lest for the NYC gig. And be sure to perform the mono mix ;) .

Note to Nez and Dolenz (the main two pushing this narrative, but also the main two musically representative of The Monkees (the voice/songwriter/producer): THE MONKEES AREN'T A DAMN TV SHOW ANYMORE! THE MUSIC HAS LONG SINCE ECLIPSED THAT. (AND IF THEY'RE JUST A SHOW, THEN PUT OUT A BLU-RAY OF THE NEW ACTIVITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I'm so excited for this. I just cannot wait. All us St. Matthew fans getting this song live. Is there any better more interesting band of the era?

Being a fan of this band is so much fun.

Also: Rolling Stone playing nice with them = :nyah:

"Who Knows What's Going To Happen?" = epitome of The Monkees. The naysayers don't know what they're missing.

We need a couple new threads:

Michael Nesmith & the FNB Live at The Troubadour CD/LP

The Monkees Present the Mike and Micky show CD

... I saw a couple of the 7a Dolenz and Jones 45s popped up on iTunes ... will this continue with all releases? Plus there's a new single with Peter Noone & Davy Jones.

Is there a separate thread for the Nesmith RCA releases through iTunes and Amazon?

The possibility has not been discounted, as some shows have already been videoed. But odds are much stronger for a CD.

I currently can't access the 7a web site and get the message that it's inaccessible and I get the message " 403: Access Forbidden Your location (EU) has been blacklisted". This seems strange as I'm in the UK.
I've looked at their Facebook page and there's no mention of any problems. Does this affect anybody else?
