Spoiler: Spoiler I thought that segue from the bar scene, to Winkler's lake cabin pretty weird. At first I thought it was dream sequence. Pretty strange ending.
It was really good.... however a LOT of shows seem to be hitting a "sophomore slump" these days. I'm curious how they will keep the show's spirit alive, if he's no longer doubling as a hit man.
Loved the show, just finished our On Demand binge 2 weeks ago. Wife loved it too which was a welcomed surprise.
Just watched this series. Got better as it went. So good! Noho Hank became so funny. I love Bill Hader.
I’ll still can’t get ever that Hank is the same guy who played the albino on Banshee. Also, I really loved the scene from episode 2 where Hank is buying shorts at LuluLemon.
Not sure it’s better, but it hasn’t fallen off too badly. Last night’s big twist ending, while entertaining, strained my credulity a bit.
I got a good laugh out of it. I remembered how obsessed the detective was over his failing marriage and it made sense to me.
It was funny, I didn’t see it coming, and it keeps the story moving forward, but, even in the admittedly surreal and coincidence-filled world of this show, it felt like a bit much to swallow.
Cool. Didn't strike me that way. The world of this show is elastic enough to accommodate it . . . my impression.
Renewed for a third season..happy for Bill, cast and crew! Bill Hader's 'Barry' renewed for season 3 at HBO
