Every second of "Big Brother". Even when he's not singing he's singing perfectly. Same with "Five Tears" as well

His June 2000 performance at the BBC is the testament of what his voice was still capable at the time. Astonishing.

Too many to choose from, but to pick two that maybe fly under the radar, I'd go with New Killer Star and Seven.

Take a careful listen to the way he sings Ashes to Ashes and you'll notice how he changes his singing style from section to section and even line to line. It's very clever and works brilliantly in the context of the song. When I got what he was doing my admiration for the track grew. A master at his craft/art.

The Laughing Gnome - Silly comedy. It adds to Bowie's flexiblity as a singer.
Soul Love - Early 70s helium Bowie at his pop melodic best.
When You Rock 'n' Roll With Me - Operatic. His voice has deepened.
Wild is the Wind - Bowie the crooner. Controlled and moving at the same time.
    It's No Game (no.1) - A screamer par excellence.
Let's Dance - His voice is very deep and powerful here.
Where Are We Now? - Fragile and emotional in new ways for him as a singer.

"Wild Is The Wind" studio version is exquisite, as is "Slow Burn", with the multi-layered Bowies in the chorus that made it impossible to reproduce live without triggered samples.

"Candidate/Sweet Thing/Candidate (reprise)" is another stunner.

Although anything but note-perfect, the emotive lead of "heroes" is also peerless.

Many stellar moments, I mean the guys voice didn't change much over the years, which is remarkable.

But I'll mention three off the top of my head - Word on a Wing is just sublime, its yearning, pain, and pleading is just amazing. I also especially like Win, from Young Americans, I think it's heft cuts through a wonderful mid-tempo number. Early on though he wrote another love song, Letter to Hermoine from "David Bowie/Space Oddity). It's not at nuanced or theatrical, but for all that it has a stark innocence that's pretty special.

I really think his performance in Lady Grinning Soul is something special. Brilliant song, such a shame he didn't perform that one live. If anyone has encountered a concert recording of it, it would be great to know :)

For some reason his version of God Only Knows is often maligned, i think it is magnificent. Absolutely glorious, he goes from what must be his lowest note up to some very high ones. Brian Wilson's masterpiece has never been better performed.

I love his playful duet with Tina Turner called Tonight. Also his duet duet with Adrian Belew, Pretty Pink Rose is solid too.
His vocal on Tin Machine's I Can't Read is also remarkable.
