    Dawn came early this morning in beautiful Copenhagen. It was for me the start of a summer day in Scandinavia, although a uniquely special one, June 20th is my cousin Brian Wilson’s birthday. Last night after dinner we sang Happy Birthday to Brian. Thanks to technology we were able to join the multitude of people who are wishing Brian well on this special day. We have embarked on a long tour of Europe, with England just days away; Brian is in my heart and on my mind. Although Brian is not with us physically, he is with us in the Music. Brian my dear cousin you are in my thoughts and in my heart and WILL be until we are no longer of this world, and even though that day will inevitably come to pass, our love for each other and the music will reside in the sound that we created together forever.

    No one knows better than I how much music, harmonies and singing together have meant to you. The love we have shared, and those Lovin’ Good Vibrations has resonated and touched the hearts of so many people for so many years and honestly, there’s no end in sight. There’s a song that I wrote as a tribute to you many years ago “BRIAN IS BACK” says it all, Brian I know you’ve had your ups and downs, but in my heart you’ll always be around. I sincerely hope that on this your birthday and in the days to come, you can go within and reach that place where the love resides. Rest assured that the world loves you, and you deserve that love. So Happy Birthday Brian from your childhood friend for life.
