Fat chance of a Beatles title?

The white album 45rpm one step would be priced $200.00 bucks.

After Simon and Garfunkel, these are the next One-Step releases:
    • Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood - LMFUD1S005
    • Bill Evans Trio - Portrait In Jazz - LMFUD1S009
    • Stevie Ray Vaughan - Couldn’t Stand The Weather - LMFUD1S007
    • Bob Dylan - Blood On The Tracks - LMFUD1S006
    • Marvin Gaye - What’s Going On - LMFUD1S008
There are not release dates yet but Bill Evans and Steve Ray Vaughan are expected in 2018 and Bob Dylan and Marvin Gaye are expected in 2019. They are not listed at the Music Direct or MOFI websites. But you can call Music Direct and pre-order them.

I haven’t read reviews. What is terrible about them? The pressing quality? I really enjoyed the Bill Evans album, which I had never heard before so can’t compare. I haven’t opened to other two yet.

According to @Blue Cactus people at Music Direct are packing the one step boxes. The Fagen release had record covers split and scuffed, which happened during packing. The pressing quality has been really good, IMO.

No chance. The people involved in that decision are happy with the lousy cd quality vinyl for stereo titles.

One step forward, two step back.

TWA 45rpm would eventually go for $500.00 + on eBay.

In my opinion, the best albums from these bands are going to be more interesting choices for the One-Step process than the predictable titles from Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bob Dylan and Marvin Gaye. How many copies of these albums do we need to own? Honestly, I'm sick to death of any albums that were reissued multiple times in the past and that the audiophile reissue companies are trying to force down our throats.

I'm fed up as well with same over and over again. Don't have to buy them I guess. But'c'mon it's 2018, time for some new titles that compliment the hi rez format.

Looking forward for more Moodie Blues and other albums that are not recorded by Bob Dylan, Marvin Gaye or Stevie Ray Vaughn. Even the "Space-Age Bachelor Pad" albums are more interesting choices than reissuing to death any albums from these three artists.

I just did. Thanks for the suggestion. Despite the absurd price, I suspect a fast sellout and I agree that ordered here you will actually get one. I thought the Billy Joel was crazy expensive but those sold out quickly and frankly I'm glad I got a copy. At first I didn't think it was going to sell.

Just an excuse to rerelease the same worn out, overrated albums again.

Think it's a case of they have the license. So it's doable, again and again.

Obviously, some titles are easier to license than others.

And a helluva of a lot cheaper too. Furthermore the LPs are housed in a normal gatefold jacket. No need for a box that drives up the price and takes up too much space.

True, but the Neil Young package is 33rpm. 45rpm would be better. The Neil Young record did come with a 7" 45rpm single.

How much does that box cost when they order thousands. 3-4 bucks maybe?
