Can't figure out why this trashed Beatles White Album has 5 bids!

Came across this eBay auction a few days ago and I was surprised the item had a bid...figured the bid must have been placed by a friend of the seller. Tonight I stumbled upon the auction again and was shocked to find that five bids had been placed for the item...bidding war between two bidders. Holy smokes! The item looks like hell...can't understand why anyone would want this record...am I missing something??

The front cover seems to be numbered. Those ones generally go for big bucks.

OK...was curious to see what the LP sold for and just checked the auction....would you believe that there was a bid for $725.00 placed on the 9th and cancelled day of auction end! Weird!
