Hi Todd!...excellent if you are a fan of the show and even if you are not...my only gripe was the episodes were out of order...supposedly in the correct order for season 2! a great bargain at Amazon IIRC, $16.99!
    Highly recommended...:righton:

Two of my favorite episodes are "Boom Boom Boom" with Jan Murray judging the Barbershop Quartet Competition and "I Hate Captain Block" where Toody bird-sits for the Captain.

Mine's not due until next week from Amazon. Wish I could have it now. Is it available in the stores? Maybe I could pick it up and cancel the Amazon order.

My favorite episodes are the one where Toody goes uncover in the bank to capture "No Face" and when he accidentally infiltrates a gang and becomes their criminal mastermind.

I remember the bird-sitting one very well, although I probably have only seen it once. Very funny situation!

Aww hell, I picked it up at FYE for $22.99 and cancelled the Amazon order. Having it today is worth the extra $3.

I haven't seen the show since it aired on Nick At Nite however many years ago.

Does it hold up? Is it worth buying "blind" since I don't remember any of it? I'll take a gamble on the first season if you guys think it's good enough.

I LOVE this show. It's hilarious. If you liked it on Nick @ Night, then you'll probably still like it now. Check for some clips on youtube if you are unsure before you waste your money.

I went directly to my favorite episode (Toody Undercover). Looks great. And this time the episodes are in correct order. Very pleased with the set.

Okay; I checked out some clips on the distributor's official website, and on YouTube, and it looks like an absolute laugh riot!

Sold! :) I just put in my order for both seasons.

Oh and for those who want to watch the Season 1 episodes in broadcast order here's a list of the broadcast order

    http://epguides.com/Car54WhereAreYou/

and a list of which episodes are on which discs in the Season 1 set:

    http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/car54s1.php

so you can create a cross-reference list if you wanted to. I guess it doesn't really matter since there isn't any continuity between episodes.

I really like the way the DVDs are enclosed in the set...pretty cool idea...no stress on the DVDs.

My one and only real complaint with these DVD sets is the packaging. The discs are very difficult to remove. I'm just going to store them in standard CD jewel cases to avoid accidentally snapping them in the future.
