Charles Schulz's 'Peanuts' Film to Hit Theaters November 2015

The 3D and lighting/shadow look creepy. Some characters can look OK in this kind of animation; I don't buy it with Peanuts.

Place your bets as to whether there's a contemporary rap hit played during the closing credits...

 

Hey, they have to sell the soundtrack to kids somehow!

(sigh).

 

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I thought the teaser looked great.

I loved the animation style - just a slight 3D effect on the characters with the original "flicker" style shots per frame as the old specials.

I thought it was cute, sweet - and everything The Smurfs wasn't - true to the characters and stayed in their "Peanuts world" as opposed to the real world.

Will the movie be good? A hit? Who knows. But it showed the heart of Peanuts - especially that last shot of Charlie and Snoopy.

I admit, I watched it thrice.

My sister used to be the voice of Sally for many years - mostly the Met Life years. She now has a show on Nick called "Winx Club" for young kids. She plays another blonde - one of the leads, Stella.

Anyway, wish she were still doing Peanuts!

I am cautiously optimistic about the movie now...

Wonderful little teaser trailer, I thought it looked fantastic and I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

 

"Linus and Lucy" theme lifted by The Black Eyed Peas. The children's choir from "Charlie Brown Christmas" autotuned. Vince Guaraldi rolls in his grave.

 

Oof! I think I just threw up in my mouth a little...

I feel like I need to listen to some of Vince's music just to wash these horrid thoughts from my brain.

 

The 'Happiness is a Warm Blanket' show is pretty disturbing but it's still hard to figure out why...just so dark..idk

 

I enjoyed Linus suffering.

I really like the art style and colors. It looks nice. My hopes remain high.

Not the worst remix in the world, but the scratch effects and the endless stuttering/repeating of the vocal clips is kind of annoying.

I saw the trailer on Facebook. They put some lousy modern rock song in the middle (ala Disney) so it's pretty much ruined for me.
