Hey all! Im the kind of person that cant buy expensive things; money burns a hole in my pocket. Thats why Ive always stayed away from box sets. However, I just purchased the CCR 1969 box set, and Ive come to realize that not all vinyl box sets are $200/300+. What are some cheap box sets that you can buy brand new on amazon right now?
If you like classical music, there are several box sets from several labels that each have a ton of CDs in them for the cost of one Sgt. Pepper box.
There is currently a series called "Original Album Classics" where you get 5 original albums of a given artist for usually well under 20$. A similar series is called "5 Classic Albums".
These are a great way to check out an artist... many very good deals to be had. Minimal packaging but no big deal given the price.
