I've been maintaining a "no Scorpio" rule since the last two I tried were complete junk (Sweet Charles and the 2nd Fallen Angels). But curiosity got the best of me today at the record store, and I broke down and picked up the current Scorpio and Universal vinyl reissue of the 2nd Chocolate Watchband album (I was dumb and missed the Sundazed in the brief time those were around). My curiosity was partly piqued because I noticed they've also started doing some straight reissues of Chess LPs by Howlin' Wolf.

In this case, the pressing is fine - done at United, super quiet, no issues. I'd assume it's a digital master, but it sounds ok, you can hear tape hiss so it's not messed with too much. However -- IT'S MISSING A SONG! "Baby Blue" is listed on the cover as it should be, but is missing from the LP.

Now that's a problem I never expected to encounter with Scorpio. Too bad, because this is a perfectly fine bargain LP otherwise.
