Considering Martin Logan Sequel II

Am i mad here they are 28 years old!!!! But damn they would look crazy good sitting beside my Rega P9.

Anyway used set on offer super condition cabinets repainted (original colours) panels are years old (not original though) but have been reconditioned and recoated (i understand you can still get panels from ML which if i liked what i was hearing i would probably do).

I am currently running Rega RS5's (and Dali Zensor 7's when i feel like it). Unfortunately i cant hear them, its an interstate purchase. I have heard newer 2014 ish ML stats around the 5 - 7 K mark (aussie dollar) and thought they were pretty amazing. Not being able to push the budget that far im looking for a portion of that performance with these (not expecting miracles). I do have a sub (soon to be dual sub) to fatten them up if need be. My amps are 78 watt Consonance Cyber 800 mono tube amps, i typically listen at 80 db, mostly 70s and 80s hard rock and 80s metal.
