I was excited by the track list of a CD I found at a local store, "Country Music Collection, Vol. 1", from the UK label Elap Music ("a division of Pickwick Group Ltd.")

It was an AAD release from 1993 -- catalog #47646

Upon closer inspection --as in really closer inspection -- in teeny tiny print it says:

"To obtain the highest possible quality some tracks are live recordings or have been re-recorded by the original artists or one or more members of the original groups."

Yeah, nothing says sound quality like most live recordings. :shake:

Anybody know which of the songs on this disc are the original recordings by the original artists?

I searched the web and also specifically here at SHF and didn't find anything detailing it.
