I definitely think I fall out of the mainstream with some of these favorites:

Strangers In The Night - Frank Sinatra
    21 At 33 - Elton John
    Discovery - Electric Light Orchestra
    Xanadu - Soundtrack
Emotional Rescue - The Rolling Stones
Hello I Must Be Going - Phil Collins
    Batman - Prince

Well love might be overdoing it for me but I like Trans.
Besides that....somebody else mentioned Muscle Of Love and Sally Can't Dance - both of which I like.
The rest posted so far...no use for 'em.
Guess I must have been a critic in a past life.

    Jethro Tull, all of them.

DCW been a-boogeyin' since I ditched the stroller.

The entire Zebra catalog. Call them super-derivative; call them tacky butt rock without substance-I don't care. I thought that there was a unique atmospheric subtext to their instrumentation (especially Guy's pipe-clanking, Middle Eastern drum fills), and that Randy, Felix, or both, had strong senses of melody that you just don't find in most other hard rock bands.

It's easier for me to find music I hate that critics seem to love, mostly because the critics never discuss my favorite groups, that is.

Alex Chilton - Like Flies On Sherbert
Jim Dickinson playing on and producing a rough hewn Chilton masterpiece - how could it be bad? And yet, they hate it.

Dylan - Down In The Groove

I guess not only the critics hate this one:D
Well, it's very far from being a perfect album (and definitely not my favorite Dylan record), but that's one of the things I love about it.

I also love "Self Portrait" which I think is no critic favorite either.

  15. Here's another vote for that one. Also:

Bob Dylan - Under The Red Sky
