    I doubt that will happen, I should think all the old ones were already in stores or in people’s houses or trash cans, as the record company didn’t ask for the old ones to be returned IIRC?

    It cost more to ship than to press the CDs and LPs, and what would they do with returns anyway? They're not like Atlanta Falcons Superbowl LI Champs tee-shirts.

    Freedb identifies the replacement disc as exactly the same ID as the original disc.

    Freedb uses track durations to separate releases so, as they haven't changed the actual length of the track...

    That was just for one day so don't get your hope up.

    I got my first massage from them today saying it was delayed for more than just one day!

    No shipping notification but my replacement CDs arrived at work today. Still sitting in my bag next to my desk to bring home tomorrow night as I had other things to attend to tonight.

    Last email correspondence I received was on 9th January informing me that replacement order had been raised.

    Lucky you! My replacement order was acknowledged on the 5th jan and is out of supply! I wonder how the decide to supply first? ProbBly those that don’t bad mouth their poor mastering work!

    My initial reply from WMG was received 5th Jan after I sent my first email to them on 22/12/17. I'll check the accompanying docs tomorrow to see when they were actually shipped.

    I received the replacment CD yesterday. It travelled to Ohio all the way from Europe.

    Still no word on the vinyl, however.
     
  16. If accurate, this is depressing. The fix doesn’t really fix anything, and doesn’t restore the increasing volume buildup that originally characterized the second half of the song.

    I have now received my replacement CD after 9 days and the two standard e-mails.
    I live in Scandinavia and the CD was shipped from Germany.

    Are they also shipping out the Vinyl replacement yet? If so, did anyone get a copy, as I think I have only seen replies on here for CD replacement so far. I bought both the CD and Vinyl Box Sets. I need to find my email receipts, but should not be hard as bought them the week after the release date.

    Warner Music emailed me to say that they are out of stock of replacement discs and there’s will be a delay in shipping a replacement

    I contacted them about the vinyl replacement and got the following email reply on Wednesday:
    Hello
    Apologies for the delay in coming back to you on this.
    Thank you for providing us with your proof of purchase receipt, we have now raised the replacement for you. ix
    Your order number is xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Unfortunately, due to high demand, we are waiting for more copies of the replacements to be produced.
    As soon as we receive these your copy will be dispatched to you.
    If you have any further questions at all, please let us know and we will be happy to help.

    Doesn't inspire confidence that I'll get my replacement anytime soon

    I live in Croatia ( EU) and i sent e mail. First i got case number, 2 days after, got order number and when my order be ready , Warner will send me shipping confirmation e mail . ,For both cd and Lp replacement

    Ps: many people already got their replacements
