Jean-Luc Ponty - Mirage
"Dear Mr Fantasy" - Traffic
"Radio Ethiopia" - Patti Smith Group
The Move -I Can Hear The Grass Grow.
My stock answer for years would have been Fracture by King Crimson. However in recent months "Slip Inside This House" by the 13th Floor Elevators is a serious contender.
Wagner - Das Rheingold (complete)
Eiffel 65 - Blue
YES: The Revealing Science of God (Dance of the Dawn)
Impossible... it would be worse than radio
I love music and I love cartoons, so I guess I'd go with this . . .
This is an easy one...
As of last night...An ending (ascent) by Brian Eno
Brewer and Shipley - Witchi-tai-to
That's easy !
Black Night, by Savoy Brown
(off of the 1967 l.p. 'Shake Down')
A Quick One (While He's Away) by The Who
I used to sing this at open mic every week (mixed in with real songs). I would come up with new guises to present it in to trick everybody, such as a delicate acoustic jazz version. I didn't die, somehow.
I missed seeing this thread. Without thinking about it much, I'd go with by The Waterboys's "Fisherman's Blues"
or David Ruffin's "My Whole World Ended (the Day You Left Me)."
Thicc as a Bricc
Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen.
My choice as well. And if I had to narrow it down, the 4th movement.
