I met someone some time ago who said he saw this tour and still considers it one of the bets shows he ever saw.

    His memories:
Lou was 'on,' and definitely 'on something.' The weirdness of his 'costume,' the lighting, the staging, and his attitude gave an aura of weirdness to the evening.

It was among the loudest indoor shows he'd been at by that point in his young life.

The band (of no one he had heard of), was, of course, one of the most amazing things he'd ever seen.

    Anyone else see this tour?

The Rock and Roll Animal album is awesome. What other songs did he perform on that tour?

The "Lou Reed Live" (aka Extended Versions) album is drawn from the same shows, but is inferior.

If only, but that Sydney show is from the Sally Can't Dance tour.

I saw him on that tour, good show overall IIRC (it was a long time ago).

I'm in a distinct minority, but I actually prefer the follow-up album. "Oh Jim" in particular is fantastic.
