Visiting Portland for a few days and thought I'd check out this shop since I've heard good things, but Yelp says it has closed.

Anyone know if they opened back up under a different name or what the deal is?

    :(

I have no clue; their website and Facebook page have both disappeared, seemingly (or I'm not using the right spelling or something.) Anyway, potentially a real loss for those in the NW interested in that 'school' of hifi (as represented by Line Magnetic, Leben, Auditorium 23, DeVore, Well-Tempered Labs, etc.) Their systems sounded exquisite -- in fact, the best system I think I've ever heard was there (Line Magnetic CD player, Leben amp, DeVore Orangutan speakers.)

    Perhaps Art K knows ...?

I know Dale retired, so he probably closed the store.

The move to Portland from Eugene just didn't work out for them. Sorry to see them go.

Dale and his brother were great guys and sellers. Wish I would have gone to the opening celebration of pdx HiFi and shown my support.
