Dirk Gently Season 2 - anyone watching?

I'm in for season 2

Been using the DVR to stay up with episodes.

Gotta say it's f'in weird tv (in a watchable way).

 

I haven't watched this yet, but I read the books many years ago so I'm definitely interested if it's been done well.

 

I loved it!

Throughout the nine episodes, I never knew what was coming next!

It may only be for the adventurous viewer, but it certainly was worth it, imo.

I hope it gets picked up for a third season!

Yeah, this is typically quirky Douglas Adams fare. You do need to stick with it to get the reward of it making sense (more-or-less... this is the guy whose answer to the meaning of life is 42, after all)

 

Series just cancelled. No Season 3.

 

Bummer.

I binged Season 2 in 3 sessions and enjoyed the weirdness/quirkiness and not knowing what was coming or where.

 

Sad, but not entirely unexpected, when you consider how much quirkier it is when compared to e.g. The Finder.
