Questions??? Just setting this up on my iPhone and iPad. I’m assume I need an internet connection to use this. And how far from my home Dish receiver can I go and still use this ?

I'm sure it requires an internet connection to stream live content. But you might be able to watch recorded content without a connection after it's been transferred to your device... maybe. You should probably check the Dish website or contact them for more information.
