Distorted vinyl when received , anyone ?

I live in far east and get records from US or UK from ebay. The shipping takes a little bit long because of the traveling distance.
Recently I have received some records that were completely distorted, ie, unevetly bent. Strangely I notice there are also some white wave marks on the vinyl, which identical to the foldings of the plastic inner sleeve. But there is no damage on the card box. Most of them are mainly from UK.

One of the local vinyl selelr told me that was being damaged by strong heat during transport. Is that possible ?
