Does any singer's voice make you sick?

Elton John's singing makes me feel actually sick to my stomach. He's the only voice that does it to me. Anybody else have this kind of physical reaction to the sound of someone's voice?

Cyndi Lauper. She had some great songs in the eighties, but her voice just sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

 

I really can't think of many because they are not in my collection! I'm not criticizing their music or their singing ability, just what affect their voices have on my mental and physical being:

Although I can respect Rush's musical talent ...Getty Lee's voice immeidately comes to mind!

 

Celine's voice actually makes my ear hurt. She needs to dial it back a notch or two. Macy Gray is another one that makes my ears hurt.

For me it is Natilie Merchant. Although I don't own any of her recordings, when I hear her voice on the radio, I have to switch her off.

When my wife is in the listening room, I am instructed to avoid her sickening singers........ Neil Young and Ian Anderson.
