I have a limited edition DVD reissue of "2001 - A space odyssey" (released in 2001), that comes with a soundtrack CD.

There is also a french DVD reissue of "Ascenseur pour l'échafaud" (Elevator to the Gallows) that comes with the CD of Miles Davis' soundtrack

I think there's a version of Easy Rider that comes with a soundtrack. I have the earlier release without it though.

Oliver has a DVD that contains the soundtrack CD as a bonus disc (the same disc as mastered in the 1980s)

 

The deluxe boxed edition of "E.T. The Extraterrestrial" also came with a copy of the soundtrack album, as well as both versions of the film, a 35mm film frame, and an extra disc of supplimental features..

 

The US re-issue of "Stand by Me" from about 2 years ago had a soundtrack disc as well.

Which was a good thing, because both copies I have had, had defects in the playing of the DVD...

The new Jodorowsky set contains soundtrack CDs for El Topo and Holy Mountain.

Ween - Live in Chicago has a bonus CD, or a bonus DVD if you buy it in the CD case.

 

The only one I know is the edition I own of Miyazaki's Totoro - but it is a Chinese edition, not the American (Disney) one.
EDIT: sorry, I have misread the original post. In fact, my DVD has the soundtrack as an extra of the same DVD, and audio-only section.

 

I know Curious George had 2 versions of the DVD a basic version and deluxe version which had the Jack Johnson soundtrack included with it. It was a great deal I think it was only 5 dollars more.

 

Does anyone know what's on the cd? I'm wondering if it's worth the extra $, and I can't seem to find a listing anywhere.

And that cd is the remixed version of the original Lp,so you don't get the Ping-Pong effect you'd get like the 1968 soundtrack...I'd still prefer the original mix,thank you... Michael Boyce

I've got that one and a Chaplin "Modern Times" 3 disc set of which one is a soundtrack CD.

 

I'm sure you've probably managed to find the info by now.... but just in case you didn't, here's what's on the CD:

It amounts to less than 20 minutes of music, so it's not one of the more worthwhile bonus CDs out there.

 

I have two CDs that came with VHS tapes of American Graffiti and Animal House. Nifty shaped CDs with an EPs worth of soundtrack stuff. That count?
