I hope this doc doesn't disappear into a black hole of non-distribution that so many of them seem to fall prey to these days. I'm still waiting to see the Nilsson, Rickie Lee Jones, Wrecking Crew and Charles Nelson Reilly docs.

Yeah, there's lots of lost docs out there. There are two new ones out on Andre Williams and Larry Carlton, but who knows if we'll see them?

I've visited the Reilly site and have considered making a purchase. Is the film worth buying?

 

Hell, YES!!! It's his 'one-man-show', and I think it was the last one before he died!!!

well it has been nearly 40 years. Listening to Mirror tonight..great record..great sound

 

The mirror always knows.

I listened to the 2-CD Hip-O Select set the other night and continue to be completely blown away. What an awesome talent Emitt was.

 

I really hope we actually see this. Love Emitt Rhodes.

 

I received a message and photo from Dan Mayer about Thursday night's screening of "The One Man Beatles" in LA. Can't wait to see this documentary!

Many people hate to hear the comparison, but Rhodes is as close
as USA ever came to producing a Paul McCartney.

 

Hope to see this at some point. Great talent and highly overlooked artist.

 

So.... has anybody actually seen this documentary yet?

 

Any word on a new recording being released by Emitt? A couple months ago there was jibber-jabber that he was preparing to release a new album...any updates? Thanks
