What are your favorite garage rock songs of the 1960's? I have a lot of compilations, along with the Nuggets boxed sets but am trying to whittle them down to about 50 or so.....

Here are some of the songs I like:

    Psychotic Reaction: Count Five
    Action Woman: The Litter
    Its Cold Outside: The Choir
    99th Floor: Moving Sidewalks
    Liar, Liar: The Castaways
    I'm A Man: Yardbirds
    Talk Talk: Music Machine
    Pyscho: The Sonics

    Sonics: Boss Hoss
    Creation: Making Time
    Strangeloves: Night Time
    Nazz: Open My Eyes
    Premiers: Farmer John

The Sonics in my opinion are at the top of this genre!

But really, a better title for this thread would be "Tracklisting of the Nuggets Box Set".

This isn't garage rock but it's on the Nuggets boxset. The Choir-It's Cold Outside.

Haven't seen those guys in years. I used to watch wrestling on KTVU when I was in grade school. Ray Stevens beating all those pencil-neck geeks out there.

A few off the top of my head:

The Torques "Merry Maker" on the Dial label.
The Rogues (out of New York) "Secondary Man"
Vinnie Basile and the Staccatos "Gypsy Girl"
    The Answer "I'll Be In"

Yep. I'm always finding little nuggets. It's a never-ending pool and I love it.
