    I've always had a soft spot for the Eldorado album. Everything else, not so much.

    I love all the songs on No Answer (even the instrumentals). It's hard to pick favorites from it, but if I had to I'd say:

    10538 Overture
    Look at Me Now
    Mr. Radio
    Whisper in the Night

    The jam sessions on ELO 2 are also pretty fantastic. I have trouble really getting into ELO past their fourth album or so.

    Although from their other albums I do really like:

    Don't Bring Me Down
    Rock n' Roll is King
    State of Mind
    Fault Line
    Ma-Ma-Ma Belle

    They sound (songwriting-wise) like Move outtakes.

    * "Xanadu"
    * "Telephone Line"
    * "The Way Life´s Meant to Be"

    I only really came on board with ELO from Face The Music onwards. However it's a veritable treasure trove after that.

    At this point I want to chuck in the whole Discovery album, Xanadu, All Over The World, most of Time... You get the picture.:)

  20. The Pinhead

    The Pinhead KING OF BOOM AND SIZZLE IN HELL

    I'm mostly partial to the songs on ¨Greatest Hits¨ '78. I remember playing the 8-track in my Grundig deck non-stop for hours on an almost daily basis when it got out. The songs (esp the slower ones) are stuck in my head to this very day. Unfortunately my CD of the same title sounds so bad (cold, brittle, harsh) I rarely play it and have to eq the sh@ite of it every time to tame the harshness.
