I'm sure there are a million, and 90% of which I've never heard, so list what you think are some of the best covers of songs made popular by the King!

I'll start w/ Cheap Trick's cover of Don't Be Cruel. Great arrangement, great vibe. Love how it continues to build & layer until it turns into a 50's sock-hop dance tune. Rick's guitar & Robin's vocals are just perfect here.

Honorable mention to Billy Joel's All Shook Up but he comes a little too close to doing an Elvis impersonation.

Either Terry Stafford's Suspicion or Ral Donner's Girl Of My Best Friend, Both better then his versions.

Love Dwight. And think about how bold those choices are. Like re-painting the Mona Lisa. :)

    I agree.

Dwight's "Suspicious Minds" rivals the original in my opinion and I'm an Elvis fanatic. Not only is that my favorite Elvis cover, that is my favorite cover of all time. Truly a great song.

Jerry Lee Lewis' SUN era recordings of "Mean Woman Blues" and "Jailhouse Rock" are pretty good...

I like this equally to Elvis' version...

Bryan Ferry did cool version of it on his s/t debut album as well.
