Favorite hype stickers from LP / CD shrink wrap and covers*

Well, just Google "master of puppets warning sticker". This was only on white label promo copies.

 

This one is my favorite

 

This sticker comes from the first "unauthorized" copies of Heart - Magazine.

 

dude! that is far out! I love it.

 

I cut around them or pull 'em off and just stick them in the CD case on the a piece of the shrinkwrap......why? I do not know...but, I do not have any favorites...

 

damn brickwalled sticker! I prefer the original!

 

This one's placement amuses me. Like they had monkeys just slapping them on the covers;

 

I've been saving the stickers that are on the cellophane of cds, lps and music videos for over 30 years. I have them in an envolope. Hundreds of them.....

 

This is a Blu-ray release that's not really music related at all, but it's still a very clever marketing sticker, if you're familiar with the movie.

 

does anyone else think of that crappy canned spaghetti from years ago! when they see this cover? never liked that when I was a kid.

 

The red sticker on the lower CD advertised the excellent Czech TV "Big Beat" series which documented the history of Czech rock music. There was a simultaneous reissue campaign going on during the initial run of the series.

 

This came off the a Elvis Aloha From Hawaii in 1973
