Much prefer Jagger without his American drawl.

    Tie for Sticky Fingers/Exile.

But if I was forced to choose I'd pick Sticky Fingers purely because it was an old copy of the LP I found in my mothers collection that turned me onto the Stones.

They quickly became my all time favourite band and I've now seen them 18 times.
    It'll be 19 at Desert Trip! :)

Are 2 albums I can listen to in any mood I find myself in.

Hollow Horse To pretend to be happy could only be idiocy

Then you can understand I'm no Stones fan by any stretch. Faraway Eyes is a bit of a parody anyway. Just a fine song.

    There are several.

For me, it's more a question of 'grouping' the albums into sections, since it depends on my mood what I think is best.

    Sticky Fingers
    Exile On Main Street

    Group B:

The Rolling Stones / England's Newest Hitmakers

I have a strange fondness for Satanic Majesties. Except for the substandard songs at the end of each side, I think it's a fantastic album, although the critics, most fans, and the Stones themselves hated it. The Beatles were lauded for their grandiose experiments in the studio but most people just didn't want to hear it from the Stones. They never went down that psychedelic rabbit hole again, although "Continental Drift" from Steel Wheels came darn close.
