Well, I'll say where I think it should've gone in a discussion question.

I just think it's kinda nuts that it's going so early. Yes, I do understand why - its success made it a target, and as you say, a lot of those movies have gone unseen by lots of people. Voting against "Titanic" just seems knee-jerk to me, though...

I agree. I was pretty blown away when it came out (and I'm a true Shakespeare fanatic).

I didn't vote it off because it's popular or a "girl's movie", I just enjoyed most of the others on this list more. But I'm also one of the few to enjoy R&J, Shutter Island and even J. Edgar.

  5. "Shutter Island" predictable? Yes. Bad? No. It also isn't Scorsese at his best but that's a far cry from "bad".

I agree with this. "Romeo & Juliet" and "Titanic" deserved better than to sink in the first round.

I agree he was miscast, but was there enough in that film for another actor to save it from mediocrity? I'm not so sure. A better film is the made for tv biopic which has Tommy Lee Jones in the lead, and he gives a more convincing performance than DiCaprio, and it covers the whole life, whereas Aviator stops just at the time Hughes' illness take over, and it's this aspect of his life I find the most interesting.

If your poll was open longer I would vote Colin.

Sorry, but if I go longer than 24 hours, these WLs will take FOREVER. They already run about a week - if I make it 48 hours, they'll take twice as long.

24 hours and done, buddy! :D
