If we're admitting that it actually existed: Caddyshack 2. The horror!

There's a different list called "Ebert's Most Hated", which has a bit of overlap among its 56 titles with the "zero stars" list, but it's still worth reading... Ebert's negative reviews are often more interesting than his positive ones! ;)
Ebert's Most Hated | Roger Ebert's Journal | Roger Ebert

I'm actually more surprised at some of the inclusions on that list.... Stargate? Deep Rising? The Village? Usual Suspects?

    No self-respecting horror/exploitation fan doesn't have a region free DVD/blu-ray player. ;)

I think The Devils would be your kind of film, but I don't know about availability on Region 1.

I watched this movie for the last time in a theatre in the 90s. The singing in the rain scene was disturbing on the big screen, but what was more disturbing was some people in the audience laughing during it. I can never watch it again, despite it being a Kubrick masterpiece.

  11. I don't know about Walker, but for Pink Flamingoes he said something like (quoting from memory) "I gave Flamingoes no stars because a star rating seems not to apply. The film should be regarded as a fact, or perhaps an object."

I'll also echo Rocker's remark about the quality of Ebert's negative reviews, and recommend the two volumes compiling a choice selection of them. Both are excellent bathroom reads for the cinemaphile.

Yup.... if only he had stuck with that 'rubber girl'...

the thing is, i want to rewatch it, but i don't feel like watching Roy's antics. They now seem genuinely deranged instead of some crazy comedy routine.

also, the DVD quality sucks. Especially the audio. I have heard audience sources of the very same gigs that sounded better.

I saw Cad shak, 2 and I was amazed, it was totally odd, And Chevy Chase would come out once and a while, make a few jokes, and say " I would stick around but I have a thing to take care of" Strange..............

I'm surprised that many of you thought some of these films were worth watching the first time, never mind a second viewing.

    One I'll never watch again

    Last Exit to Brooklyn.

Just discovered Requiem for a Dream is written by the same guy.

Saw this again recently and was actually very impressed by how well it works, even on second viewing. Even though you know they will not succeed, it really keeps you on the edge of your seat.

My wife has a story she drags out that she saw this after just leaving HS and ran into the lobby and threw up before the movie finished.
Much to my amusement, the local classical music venue in Phila played the theme music over and over (into the street) on a certain day this January at precisely the time that an event took place in DC.

Stay far away from "Breaking the Waves"

"Casualties of War", is another one.

I think that either of these top The Deer Hunter.

Found out that the "Drama Department" scene was filmed in the Broward Community College school theater, where I had attended school (not in the Drama Department).
