Suppose to come out late July.

    All Lp's standard weight.

    Includes:

    - Then Play On (Gatefold)
    - Bare Trees (Gatefold)
    - Klin House (Single sleeve)
    - Future Games (Single sleeve)
    - A surprise 7' single

I'm sure many Fleetwood mac fans will rejoice to see this release, "Then Play On" and "Bare Trees" are my favorite mac albums, i'm so psyched to get this, warner do really good job on their vinyl reissues so i'm confident the mastering will be great.

    Yay!! :goodie:

  2. Although I'll wait for the reviews here before I'll pick it up, this is very good news. I've been looking for a while for a good vinyl copy of Then Play On. If this one's done right it could be worth the price of the entire set.

You're sure that Bare Trees has a gatefold sleeve and Kiln House a single sleeve? It was the other way round on the originals, and early copies of Kiln House also came with a foldout lyric insert. As for the "surprise single", it should logically be "Dragonfly"/"The Purple Dancer", which was released between Kiln House and Future Games.

  4. Interesting...But I'm skeptical. Source?

Iv'e got a 70's German pressing from the rock classics series (i could be wrong here) that sounds great, i see those here all the time for quite low prices, i'll have a look tonight and see if i can find it and i'll post a pic, i highly recommend it.

Well, if that cover is correct, the "surprise single" is "Oh Well, Parts 1 & 2". Hopefully the set will include "Dragonfly", "The Purple Dancer", "Trinity" and the alternate mix of "Lay It All Down" as bonus tracks somewhere. Does anybody know whether there is also going to be a CD (or even better, SHM-CD or SACD) version of the box?

  17. as vinyl reissues
    strange era to choose
these can be had in original pressings
    quite cheaply

Would be surprised if the Future Games pressing beats my UK original. I know the domestic pressings that I had were really weak sounding.
Great albums here, but what is the source and where are they being pressed. Could be a nice package.

My original FG domestic pressing with the light green border on the jacket sounds incredible; the ones in the light yellow jackets are not so good. If TPO is released singularly I'm game, but my others are in near mint shape, so I wouldn't have much use for the others in the set.

I ordered the Fleetwood Mac Original Album Series CD set a few days ago. If this set gets good reviews for pressings and sound, good chance I'll get this also.
