Found some of the new Stones SACDs in Maryland today!

Well, after reading that article about some Best Buy stores having them on my shelves I decided to go to my local Best Buy.

They had about 7 titles abundantly in stock. I am listening to the redbook now on my PC and it sounds better than what is available now. For the most part, much cleaner and detailed than before available. I will listen to the SACD layer in a few.

Hopefully they will have the rest of the titles by next weekend!

 

Can't the retailers get in trouble for selling discs before the release date?

 

yes but how would they know if noone told?

 

Best Buy was advertising the Stones CD's on sale last week. But of course this week there was no mentions at all in the circular because they probably didn't have time to re-print the ad.

 

There was another thread I was in suggesting that the delay was the shipment only, and there was no delay in the original release date. If this is the case then they did nothing wrong putting the discs out for sale.
